The small town of Petorca is about 3 hours' drive north of Santiago. It lies in a peaceful valley among the foothills of the high Andes. The day of our visit was characteristically sunny, with a cool breeze blowing up-valley from the fog-shrouded Pacific coast.

La pequeña ciudad de Petorca se encuentra a 3 horas de Santiago, hacia el norte, entre las faldas de la cordillera de los Andes. Durante nuestra visita, gozamos de un día asoleado, temperado por una brisa fresca proveniente de la costa.
